It is bounded by Gardeners’ Lane to the west, Poyl Dooey Road and the town centre to the east and south and the River Sulby to the north.
The site is low-grade land with self-seeded trees providing little or no amenity value and acting as a barrier to the public’s enjoyment of the river-bank.
With sensitive landscaping and design, we can bring new amenity space to local people whilst providing room for the town to grow within its own boundaries, rather than eating into the green belt.
